Huffines and the Westie Walk

Huffines Chevrolet Plano is proud to announce their sponsorship of the Westie Rescue of North Texas and would like to invite our family of friends and customers to their annual fundraiser, the Westie Walk!

The Westie Rescue of North Texas (WRNT) is comprised of current and former members of the Trinity Valley West Highland White Terrier Club and exists solely to rescue and rehabilitate abused, abandoned, neglected, homeless and surrendered West Highland White Terriers.

Their rescues are provided with the attention, care and medical treatment necessary, including spaying/neutering, until a permanent home can be found.  Through the commitment of volunteers WRNT also focuses on education of the public regarding puppy mills and responsible dog ownership, training and humane care of Westies and other pets.

The Westie Walk, sponsored by Huffines, will be held on Saturday, October 12, 2013 from 9:45 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. at the Mary Heads Carter Park in Carollton.  The fun-filled day will include a Dog Walk, Bagpiper, Huffines Costume Contest, Races and Games, complimentary food, desserts and beverages, LOTS of prizes, and more!

All are invited to attend, and we hope to see everyone there for a fun event that will undoubtedly be full of cuteness.  Be sure to mark your calendars!
