Don’t Touch Lola

As a lifelong admirer of everything related to comic books, science fiction, and all things considered “geeky”, I have had the opportunity to be excited in recent years about many movies and TV shows, considering comics have launched a full scale invasion of the big screen.  However, few pop culture events are more exciting than when Joss Whedon, creator of Firefly and Director of the hit movie “The Avengers”, releases a new show.
Agents of Shield, a spinoff of The Avengers film, will air tonight featuring an alive version of Agent Coulson and his beautiful ride.  A 1962 Chevrolet Corvette, codename “Lola.”
SHIELD is full of high tech equipment, but what stands out the most among all of it is a classic, vintage, touch of class, Chevy.  In the previews you can see Phil Coulson, played by Clark Gregg, parking his awesome ride and saying to a crewman, “Don’t Touch Lola.”

What’s so special about the Vette besides the obvious elegance and awesomeness that comes with owning a Chevrolet?  Not to spoil anything, but let’s just say after tuning into Marvel’s Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D on ABC tonight you might realize that the Chevy Corvette is the real superhero amongst this team of gifted super-spies.  Be sure to tune in and check out this awesome ride.

And if you’re looking for a vehicle that is worthy of a super-secret spy agency to put in your drive-way visit Huffines Chevrolet Plano at 1001 Coit Road in Plano, Texas or give us a call at 972-867-4000 today!
